In Assisted Living mothers day, and all kinds of other holidays can be sad days.
Juanita is always a joy to our home, and she is especially happy today on Mother’s Day. She was surprised with a package from New York from her granddaughter Deb. We hear of so many sad people who are in assisted living, that we’re glad to share Juanita’s smiling face. It’s not even a gift that will make someones day, but having family and loved ones to share it with. Juanita is surrounded by loving caregivers and family who care for her.
In addition to receiving lovely gifts from New York, Juanita’s daughter drove to Juanita’s Sacramento Assisted Living from Oregon. Her joy from the company was evident to everyone in our care home.
Happy Mother’s Day to Juanita and all mothers, those living in assisted living, and those possibly visiting their loved ones in a care home.
